Funeral Services Set Wednesday For Mrs. Baird

Redfield - Mrs. Stanley K. Baird died Sunday at her home near Frankfort.

The funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Frankfort Methodist Church with the Rev. John Cecil officiating. Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery.

Coleman Funeral Home, Redfield announces arrangements.

Shirley M. Baird was born May 18, 1927, in Frankfort. She spent her entire life in the Frankfort area. She married Stanley K. Baird, who is Post Master at Frankfort, March 14, 1947.

Mrs. Baird worked in the law office of Sterling and Clark and later for Gallagher and Battey of Redfield.

She was a member of the Methodist Church of Frankfort, Rebekah Lodge and was Spink County secretary for the Democratic Party.

Survivors include her husband, six sons, Kevin, Kerry, James, Dennis, Steven, and Robert, one daughter Janet, all at home; one sister, Izola Van Houten, Redfield; four brothers, Clayton Van Houten, Riverton, Wyo., Kent Van Houten, Houston, Tex., Charles Keith Van Houten, Cordova, Ill., Verlyn Van Houten, Glen Gardner, N.J.
