DUCZER, MIKE JOSEPH, III

Mike Joseph Duczer III died on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at his home in Summit, Miss. He was a native of Hungarian Settlement, a U.S. Navy retiree and a former pipe fitter. Visitation at Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Albany on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 10:00 a.m. until religious service at
1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Lane Stevenson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Dolores Duczer of Summit; son,John Duczer of Independence; daughter, Pamela Michelle Fraering of Marrero; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Michelle Creasy of Denham Springs and Kelly Burris of Jackson, Miss.; brother, Robert Duczer of Baton Rouge; and three sisters, Rosemary Spalitta of Hammond, Shirley Vollenweider of Roswell, Ga., and Pat Lowe of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by a son, Barry Duczer; and his parents, Mike Joseph Duczer Jr. and Elizabeth Berey Duczer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building funds of Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Church or the J.J. White Memorial Presbyterian Church in McComb, Miss. Geisler Funeral Home of Albany is in charge of arrangements.
