Mrs. Matlock, a lifetime Ellis County resident, passed away Sunday night at the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Nursing Home in Ennis. She was born in Malone (Ellis County), TX. to L. C. and Effie (Padgett) Berry. She was a graduate of Avalon High School. She married her first husband Cleave Robinson in 1940, was widowed in 1972, married her second husband Bob Matlock in 1980. He preceded her in death in 1985.
She is survived by: one brother and sister-in-law, Aubry and Leatrice Berry of Avalon; and one niece, Cheryl Berry Turner and her husband Phil of Waxahachie. She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
Interment will be in Hughes Cemetery, Avalon.
