Beverly "Sue" (Free) Springer, 81, of Van Wert, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at her home following an extended illness.
She was born July 7, 1928, in Monroe, Mich., the daughter of the late Charles "Curt" Free and Bonetha (Pettit) Free. On June 12, 1947, she married Dale L. Springer, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Randy (Carol) Springer of Van Wert and Rick (Sarah) Springer of Eaton; a brother, Jack (Marcia) Free of Cortez, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Del Free of Van Wert; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four nephews; and four nieces.
A brother, Dean C. Free, also preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Tim Burden officiating.
There will be no visitation.
