Pearl was the youngest of five children born to Grover and Nellie (Baker) Abney. She married Ted Sisk in 1946.

Pearl Irene Sisk, 86, of Junction, passed away peacefully 6:14 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2007 at her residence.
Pearl was born in Harrisburg on July 11 1921 to Grover and Nellie Abney. She married Ted Sisk on January 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death on Feburary 22, 1990.
Pearl was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Equality and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ridgeway Chapter No 714. She was an alumnus of the Harrisburg High School class of 1940. She was a homemaker.
Pearl was survived by nieces, Ida Nell and Bob Wargel of Marion and Mary Lee and Bill Saunders of Carmi; sister-in-law, Jackie Somers of Eldorado and Feda and Jim Munds of Broughton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Helen L. Mitsdarffer, Janice Herron and Mary Jane Cummins; and a niece, Carolyn Hoffmann. Funeral services for Pearl will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality. The Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate with burial to follow at Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Equality.
