Mr. Cappious passed away Monday, January 16 at his home at 323 North Lane Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon, following a brief illness. He was born at Klamath Falls, Oregon, April 28, 1863 and made his home there until 1888 when he was married to Martha J. Kirkendall at Camas Valley, Oregon. The couple came to Cottage Grove in 1916, where they have since made their home.
Surviving are his widow and one son Samuel of Helena, Montana.
