Ruby Mae Parks passed away Thursday morning at Pleasant Manor Care Center. She was born in Maypearl, TX. to P.M. and Atsy (Bishop) Parks. Survivors are: her sister, Ruth Hays of Waxahachie; brother, Tommy Parks and wife Janie of Ferris; sisters-in-law, Inez Parks of Lancaster and Betty Parks of Ferris; nieces and nephews, Emily Everett of Waxahachie, Carla Jones of Alexandria, VA., Tom Hays and wife Linda of Waxahachie, Judy McMullin and husband David of Lancaster, Mark Parks and wife Barbara of Lancaster, Leann McElyea and husband Danny of Montgomery, Jim Parks and wife Paula of Ferris, Pat (Parks) Salazar and husband Max of Ferris, Virginia Weaver of Midlothian, Elaine Tarin of Midlothian, Thelma Brandon and husband L. E. of Denton, Martha Ivy of Sardis, Barbara Ralston of Italy, Randy and Gayle Tobias and many great and great great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives. Miss Parks was preceded in death by her parents,PM and Atsy Bishop Parks; half sister, Willie Jackson; brothers, Walter Parks of Waxahachie, Julius Parks of Lancaster; Jim Parks of Ferris; brother-in-law, Finis Hays of Waxahachie; great nephew, Thomas Hays, Jr. of Waxahachie. Interment followed at the Oak Branch Cemetery.
