Alice was the daughter of Sylvester and Tillie Broshears. She resided in Evansville, Indiana for most of her life, moving to Chicago in the mid-1960's. She was survived by her daughters Mary Jo of Chicago and Gloria of Valparaiso, Indiana, brother Floyd Broshears of Boonville, Indiana, and eight grandchildren.
