Angela Elaine Peare, 72, left this earth and became a beautiful angel on Monday, November 16, 2009. She had fought a long, hard battle with Alzheimer's disease for over seven years. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 12, 1937, the daughter of Harold Thomas Sr. and Mabel Ruth Lemley.

Angie graduated from Springfield High School in the Class of 1955 and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Springfield. In 1973, she, with her daughter Sonie, started Sonie's School of Dance, where she was manager until 1977, then stayed involved as an emcee for shows and a personality judge at the recitals. She was also a judge for the Sunburst Beauty pageants for many years and was a model for local fashion shows. She retired as manager from Key & Lock Storage. Angie was a former member of Northridge Lioness Club, Cardinal Squares dancing club and Clark County Rose Society. She loved roses and had a showplace in her backyard, winning many awards with her beautiful flowers. She also dearly loved animals and children. In recent years with her disease, no matter what kind of day she was having, she would always light up whenever her grandchildren were around.

Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Harry G. Peare; three children and their spouses, Sonie and Doug Gibson, Missy and Jeff Ambrusko, and Todd and Lisa Horton; three stepchildren and spouses, Donald and Patricia Peare, Deborah and Chris Winnenberg, and Daniel and Janet Peare; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Donna Peare; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Jordan, Taylor and Brenna; seven step-grandchildren, Katie, Jessica, Alex, Nick, Alison, Kelsey and Matt; and one niece and spouse, Tina and Jamie Rhoades.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Thomas Lemley Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Jackson Lytle & Williams Funeral Home, Springfield. A service of love and remembrance will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Springfield, with visitation at the church one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.

Her struggle is over; she is no longer in pain. We love you and will miss you so much.
