Henry W. Cadle, Sr., 78, of Tyler Mountain went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2010, after a brave battle with cancer.
He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Everett and Sylvia Cadle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served his country for six years.

He is survived by his one and only love, his wife of 58 years, Frances V. Cadle; his children, Henryetta D. Comer and husband Jeff of Tyler Mountain, Henry W. Cadle Jr. and companion Galen of California, Douglas W. Cadle and wife Tiauanna of Teays Valley and David A. Cadle and companion Tresa of Tyler Mountain; brother, Bobby Cadle; sisters, Frances Gambrel and Mary Roberts. He is also survived by grandchildren, Lesley, Trebor, Jessica, Chris, David, Alyssa, Allen, Trey and Jason; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Mason, Katie, Mallory, Olivia, Aryia, Cameron and Stephen. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

God looked at His Garden and found an empty place.

He then looked down on this earth and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best,

He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain.

He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

The family would like to thank Hospice for their wonderful care and support.

At his request, there will be no visitation or service, his body will be cremated and returned to his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25312.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
