Thelma R. Nicholas
Thelma R. Nicholas, 78, Logansport, died at
1:34 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 26, 1908, in Idaville to
Raymond and Bertha Hayes Nicholas.
She was a music teacher in the Logansport
Community School Corporation, retiring in 1971.
She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian
Church, PEG, Kappa Kapppa Kappa Sorority,
Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Fidelity
Chapter #58 Order of the Eastern Star and
Logansport Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are three cousins, Jim Hayes,
Batesville, Lorene Knight, Deer Creek, and
Harold Hayes, Logansport.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in
Kroeger Funeral Home, with the Rev. David
Fleming and Father John T. Ford, CSC,
officiating. Burial will be in Idaville
Cemetery, Idaville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday
in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to
Calvary Presbyterian Church.
