Betty Jane Edgcomb, 88, of Peru, formerly of Earlville, passed away Friday (Jan. 15, 2010) at Heritage Manor in Peru.
She was born Nov. 13, 1921 in LaSalle to John and Anna Batty Snell. She married Arthur Edgcomb on Jan. 10, 1945 in Lowell. He preceded her in death in 1980.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Karin) Edgcomb of Normal and Philip (Jennifer) Edgcomb of Serena; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Melissa, Adam, Kimberly and Jordan; five great-grandchildren and one brother, Jack (Juanita) Snell of Deer Park, Ottawa.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Leslie Elizabeth Edgcomb and two brothers, Joe and Eugene Snell.
