Upon his return to the United States, he went to Chester County Hospital to serve his residency. He then went to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia to specialize in pediatrics, and once he completed his residency, Dr. Francis Jacobs asked him to join his practice in West Chester as a partner in 1952.
