Buelah's parents were Stephen Reynolds Rickett (9-11-1854)
and Jennie G. Smith. They moved to Conway Township after they were married in July of 1894. She had 2 sisters, Bessie Muriel and Pearl. She had 3 half brothers, Stephen Reginald (7-1-1877 - 9-3-1877); Frederick Thomas (2-10-1879) and Harry Reynolds (9-19-1880 - 10-11-1880) [The boy's mother was Mary Ann Rickett, who died in 11-1882]

Buelah married Rex Allen on 11-21-1923 at the age of 22, and Rex was 21, in Conway Township. They had 3 children; Paul Rex (3-11-1926);
Mary Lucille (Mary Lou) (10-26-1928);
Gerald Silas (1-3-1935- 2-8-1935). Gerald is buried in the Conway Township Cemetery.

Paul married Harriet Adams and had 2 sons: Steven Paul, and David Rex. They lived in California.
Mary Lou married Rev. Stanley (Roger) Birdsall (4-12-1923 -8-20-1948). They spent much of their time in Huntington, Indiana, but he served several United Brethren Churches in various places. They had 4 children; Constance Sue, Stanley Douglas, Brent Allen and Brian Scott.

Buelah was a housewife and home maker. She was a wonderful quiet lady, who loved her Lord, and served Him in many ways. She was very active in the ladies missionary society. She was a 'prayer warrior'.

When she died, Rex and his children went to the funeral home to make arrangements. When they returned home Rex went to lie down to rest. When his children went to call him for supper, he had also died. Just shows how much they were in love, and how they never spent time apart...not even in eternity.
