She was born May 30, 1915, in Billings, the daughter of Thomas A. and Bertie May Smith Sifferman.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She had worked many years at the Farmer's Home Administration here.
She married George Q. Dawes on Nov. 15, 1941, in Kansas City. He died April 11, 1994.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruby Baker and Grace Taylor. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
