Daisy lived in Gwinnett County most of her life, where she maintained the home for her children, including helping with farm work and canning vegetables to help feed the family. Everyone loved her, and she was always helpful to all who needed her. She instilled a respect for education and a strong work ethic in her children, and encouraged them to strive for a better life.
She died from a stroke due to blocked arteries in her neck.
