Mrs. Fanie E. Spickler, formerly of Circleville, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Flanagan, at Bakerton, West Virginia, last Saturday May 30th, aged 81 years. The deceased suffered from paralysis for several years, which caused her death. She was the daughter of Rev. John Dreisbach, born in Pickaway township, and was the last survivor of her family, her brother, Martin E. Dreisbach being the survivor next to her. Mrs. Spickler was the widow of Lewis C. Spickler, who was a farmer on the Steely land, in Pickaway township, dying years since. She had three children, her eldest daughter and only son, Davis C. Spickler, long since deceased, Mrs. Flanagan the only survivor.

Mrs. Spickler was a woman of many superior qualities, esteemed by all her acquaintances. For a few years she was Matron of the Children's Home which was near the County Infirmary.

The remains were brought to Circleville on Monday. Burial in the afternoon in Ebenezer Church cemetery.
