McKEEVER-Kevin James, 43, of Brentwood on Saturday, November 20, 2004 with his family at his bedside, lost his battle to lung cancer. He was a loving father to his son Brian, age 15. Beloved son of the late Edward Francis McKeever, Valerie Dudonis and her husband Bob. Kevin was a caring brother to Sue Olexsak and her husband Steve, Eddie McKeever and his wife Jeannie, Steven McKeever and his wife Debbie, Erin Kramer and her husband Danny, Jack McKeever and his wife Renee, Meghan Vitale and her husband Guy, Colleen McKeever and her companion Rosario Parisi. He was a fun uncle to Sara, Luke, William, Kelsea, Kaitlin, Kerrie, Steven, Joey, Janie, Daniel, Kevin, Jack, Jessie, Jason and Hailey. Kevin had many friends who loved him like a brother. Kevin had a gift of compassion. Everyone who knew him loved him. His laughter was contagious. His memories will be left to cherish. Reposed at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes Inc., 571 Suffolk Ave. Brentwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM at St. Luke R.C. Church, Brentwood. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Family received friends to celebrate Kevin's life on Monday 2-4 and 7-9:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donation to Hospice Care Network, 99 Sunnyside Blvd., Woodbury, NY 11797.
