R.C. 'Carroll' Browder
R.C. "Carroll" Browder, 81, formerly of Oklahoma, died Wednesday in Abilene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Gould Church of Christ in Hollis, Okla. with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Hollis, directed by Carter Stewart Funeral Service of Hollis.
Mr. Browder was born in McQueen, Okla., and attended Lahoma High School. He married Helen Lorene Wall in 1947 in Hollis, Okla., and was a farmer. He moved to Abilene two years ago from McQueen, Okla., and was a member of Gould Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two sons, Jerry Browder of Denton and Terry Browder of Abilene; one daughter, Marsha Monroe of Beaumont; and seven grandchildren.
