Billy Eugene Poe, son of Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth Cunningham Poe was born July 8, 1933 in Downing, Mo and died unexpectedly Monday December 22, 1997 in Flagstaff, Arizona at the age of 64 years.
He was married to Treva Mertell on June 28, 1957 who survives along with sons, Garry, Bruce and Garen and daughters Lisa and Lori, eleven grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert.
Mr. Poe lived in Downing, Missouri, most of his life and for the past few years in Arizona.
He served in the US Army in Korea and was a decorated veteran.
Memorial services were held in Arizona and Missouri with private graveside services on January 7, 1998 and burial in the Downing Cemetery, Downing, Missouri.
