Ramira Rosario DelValle, 85, of West Chester, formerly of Kennett Square, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Pocopson Home.
She was the wife of the late Alejandrino DelValle who passed away in 2001 and with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Balentin Rosario and the late Guillierma Martinez, she was a homemaker and babysitter.
Ramira loved cooking for her family, especially pasteles, gardening and sewing. She attended St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Avondale.
She is survived by two sons, Angelo DelValle and his wife, Bonnie, and Solustiano DeValle, all of West Grove; one daughter, Gloria Campbell and her husband, Dan of Quarryville; and three granddaughters, and two grandsons.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, at Cleveland & Grieco Funeral Home, 221-223 Pennsylvania Ave., Avondale, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square.
