Orville Glen Poe, 82, a Morgan County farmer for the last 58 years died in the Weld County Hospital Thursday at 11:45 am.
Poe was born July 2, 1880 in Scotland County, Missouri. He came to Morgan County about 1905 from Scotland County.
Besides his wife, Imogene, Poe is survived by eight children: Mrs. Thelma Pugh of Weldona, Mrs. Eva Manning of Denver, Mrs. Ruth Yurick of Denver, Henry R of Eaton, Paul of Denver, Cecil V of Denver, Leonard J of West Plains, Mo and Virgil E of Colorado Springs. Two sisters, Mrs. Effie Leach and Mrs. Sylvia Israel of Memphis, Mo and one brother, Ernest of Fort Morgan also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm form the Cutler-Joliffe chapel with Rev Leon C. Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
