Lillian Pickett Faulkner, age 85, a resident of Berry, Kentucky, died Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on October 10, 1916, to the late George and Mattie Barnes Pickett. She was a former homemaker, a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church, a former Edgemont Manor Nursing and Convalescent Home employee and a former Hansley Mills employee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Faulkner. Survivors include: a daughter, Joann Switzer, of Berry; a granddaughter, Debbie Kittrell, of Seeley Lake, Montana; and a great-grandson, Toby Kittrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Albert Moore. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Raven Creek Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to New Friendship Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Richard Faulkner, Roy Goldey, Charles Vallandingham, Grady Vallandingham, Paul Ray Pickett and Tommy New. Honorary pallbearers are Clyde Hughes, Frank Bowen and Hamblin Bowling.
