According to the death cert. for this little one her parents were H C Crawford of MO. and Elizabeth Danforth of Texas. Her father H C Crawford was informant listed on the doc. The cause of death was *pyaemia. J W Klinger and Co. on Commercial St. was the funeral home. Her name on the death cert. is spelled with a double L. Hellen.
*type of septicaemia that leads to widespread abscesses of a metastatic nature. It is usually caused by the staphylococcus bacteria by pus-forming organisms in the blood. Apart from the distinctive abscesses, pyaemia exhibits the same symptoms as other forms of septicaemia. It was almost universally fatal before the introduction of antibiotics.
Cemetery office gave me her location as Center South West Block 28 Lot Row 5 Lot 6. There is an E F Crawford, and I do not know if they are related or a coincedence he is located as NSSE on the lot and in relationship to her.
Her parents were Henry Carter Crawford and Elizabeth Pearl Danforth.
After searching through census records I find that E F Crawford was Edgar Franklin Crawford the father of Henry C Crawford, and the grandfather of this little girl.
