Daughter of Henson H Rush and Margaret Stout.

Married Stephen Loveall February 6, 1850 in Adair County, Kentucky. Amanda was 15 at the time of her marriage.
Children: Mary Margaret, George Taylor, Lucy Emily.

The 1850 Adair County, Kentucky census registers Stephen Loveall, age 20 ; Amanda Jane Loveall, age 15, in the household of Ephraim and Sarah Rush, Amanda's aunt and uncle; and next neighbor to his parents Johnathan and Ruth Loveall.

The 1860 Miller County, Missouri census registers Stephen Loveall, age 30; Amanda Jane, age 23, both born in Kentucky; Mary M, age 5; George T, age 2, both born in Missouri; and Margaret Rush, age 57, born in Kentucky. Margaret was the mother of Amanda.

Amanda Loveall is listed in 1871 as taxpayer in the Jim Henry School District which would indicate that Stephen had died before that time and Amanda is a widow with taxes due. Two children, George born 1859 and Lucy born 1861 would have been students at that time. Her oldest daughter, Mary, was married in 1871.

The 1880 Miller County, Missouri census registers M J Loveall, age 44, born in Kentucky in the household of her mother, Margaret Rush. Also in the household is Amanda's daughter, Mary Margaret Sweaney, age 25 and her two daughters, Mary, age 8 and Victory J, age 5.

Amanda died sometime after the 1880 census.

No definite records of her burial other than family information. Several field stones surround the rough stone Loveall marker and are presumed to be grave markers for Stephen Loveall, his wife Amanda Jane Rush Loveall, their daughter, Mary Margaret Loveall Sweaney Mertel, and Amanda's mother Margaret Stout Rush.
