Suggested edit: Benjamin Sager, 91, one of the oldest and best known residents of this community, died unexpectedly this afternoon at 1:15 at his residence two miles north of here.

He devoted his life to farming.

His wife, the former Anna See, died in 1942.

Mr. Sager was a member of the Garrett's Chapel EUB Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Stella Wilkins, Nerva Bowman, both of Mathias, and Pearl Fishel, of Green Spring, W.Va., and five sons, Bert Sager, of Washington, Jasper Sager, of Lost City, Harry Sager, of Mathias, Emory Sager, of Cumberland, and Guy Sager, of Mathias.

He also leaves 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from Garretts Chapel, the Revs. Robert Nair and Harold Albert officiating.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
