SALEM - A graveside funeral for Lucy Blankenship Duncan, 71, of Salem who died Wednesday, June 14 was conducted Saturday, June 17 in Sherwood Memorial Park by Rev. Wallace Yopp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Posey Edward Duncan. Survivors include her children, Frank A. Linton, Jr. of Roanoke, Barbara Jean and Edward W. Maxey of Wirtz, Shirley A. Fisher of Calloway, Linda L. and Gene W. Carter of Salem; brothers and sisters, Ruth Underwood of Roanoke, James M. Blankenship of Salem, Frank H. Blankenship of Front Royal, Ralph Blankenship of Roanoke, and Ada Pratt of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Tony Fisher, Richard Fisher, Wilton Maxey, Ray Fisher, and Chris Fisher; greatgrandchildren, T.J. Anders, Richie Bowles, Kaleigh Bowles, Nicole Fisher, Kelly Fisher, Sebastian Fisher, Larna Walthall, Sierra Hatcher and Dustin Fisher. Lotz Funeral Home in Salem was in charge of arrangements.
