Irwin A. Miller, 85, of 208 Grant St., New Bethlehem, South Side, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, in Brookville Hospital.
Born Dec. 31, 1917, in Kellersburg, Armstrong County, he was the son of Harry E. and Clara Reirigh Miller.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the military police.
Mr. Miller was a carpenter and retired from the
Carpenters Union, Pittsburgh. He was a member of the New Bethlehem VFW and the Loyal Order of the Moose, No. 366, New Bethlehem.
Mr. Miller was a Protestant.
He was married in 1953 to Ethel Elizabeth Miller, who died in 1984.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Doris Colwell of Widnoon; an aunt, Katherine Reirigh of Oil City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Charles D. Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn. Funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Foster of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Beautiful Lookout, Armstrong County.
