Clara M. Winchell – Cedar Vale, Kan.
Mrs. Felix (Clara M.) Winchell, 62, Mobridge, SD, formerly of Cedar Vale, died Wednesday at Aberdeen, SD.
She was born Aug. 17, 1908, at Cedar Vale to Clarence B. Nelson and Laura Ellen West Nelson. She was reared at Cedar Vale and attended schools there. She married Felix H. Winchell on July 21, 1928, at Sedan, and they owned and operated a coin-operated laundry in Mobridge.
Survivors include her husband of the home and two sisters, Mrs. Ross McClure of Ponca City and Mrs. Gilbert Liebau of Laramie, WY.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Home with Rev. Don Harper officiating. Burial will be in North Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Funeral services for Clara M. Winchell, who died Wednesday in Aberdeen, SD, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Miles Funeral Home Chapel, Cedar Vale. The Rev. Don Harper officiated. Vocalist was Mrs. Lucile Littrell and Mrs. Roy Prather was the organist.
Pallbearers were Bob Ferguson, L. G. Liebau, Joe Hoddy, Jerry Cullum, Shirley Richter and Donald Stephens.
Interment was in North Cedar Cemetery, Cedar Vale.

Sister of Poncan Dies in S. Dakota
Mrs. Clara Winchell of Mobridge, SD, sister of Mrs. Ross (Mabel) McClure, 1500 McGraw Drive, died December 16 at Aberdeen, SD. Services were to be 2 O'clock today at the Miles Funeral Parlor in Cedar Vale, KS.
Mrs. Winchell was a frequent visitor to Ponca City. Among her survivors are three nieces and a nephew, Mrs. Joe E. Hoddy, 513 South Tenth, Mrs. J. D. Cullum, 2704 East Hartford, Mrs. S. R. Richter of Chicago and Donald G. Stephens of Newkirk.
