Byron E. Willingham, 41, of Savannah, died Wednesday, May 29 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Rome, GA, and moved to Savannah in 1960. He attended Calvary Baptist Temple, and was a Marine Electronic Technician, with Maricom Electronics for the past 22 years. He was the current owner of Willingham Marine Electronics.
He was a former member of the Savannah Sports Fishing Club. He was an avid fisherman and loved the water and boating.
Survivors: mother, Sylvia Willingham of Guyton; father and step-mother, Bill and Linda Willingham of Savannah; sons, Jonathan, Joseph and Samuel Willingham all of Savannah; brother and sister-in-law, Gregory A. and JoAnn L. Willingham of Savannah. Visitation: 5:30 - 7:00 p. m. Saturday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Memorial Service: 7:00 p. m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
