Georg Ade died April 21, 1904 at 7 minutes before noon. He was born to Johann Ade and Louise nee Werner in Canal Dover, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio on April 23, 1838. He came with his parents to this area in his 12th year. He was always mentally retarded and after his parents death, lived with relatives and at the end with his brother-iin-law, Christ Hahn. He had been ailing for 12 years but his death came quickly and peacefully after being bed-fast not much more than a week. He died at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 27 days.
