ABRAMS, HENRIETTA 'JILL', age 90, of Oakwood, Ohio, previously of Brentwood and Creve Coeur, Missouri, April 2, 2000, following a rich, full and active life; beloved mother and mother-in-law of Fred and Nancy Abrams, also of Oakwood and grandmother of Geoff of Huntsville, Alabama and Amy of Oakwood.

She was Grand Worthy Advisor to the Rainbow Girls for the State of Missouri in 1930, later the Mother Advisor and has been a member of the Order of Eastern Star for seventy years. Her career culminated as administrative assistant to the Chairman of the Physics Department at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, from 1960 to 1977; she has been a member of the American Association of University Women since that time. She was a strong supporter of literacy and had tutored reading since moving to Ohio.

Celebrations of her life among us may take the form of scholarship fund contributions to Washington Universty, Campus Box 1082, One Brookings Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63130-4899.
