Nancy was a member of the D.A.R., national #14876. She is incorrectly referred to as Marcy Clark in the D.A.R. lineage books. She married Jan. 18, 1896, in Winchester, KY, to Edward Clark, son of Joseph Clark and Kate Lewis. "Teazie," as the family knew her, was well educated and an expert in orchids. She and Edward had one child, a son, William Beckner Clark, born Oct. 20, 1897, died Mar. 28, 1899, buried in Winchester Cemetery.
