Rebecca Wheelock, daughter and third child of Rev. Ralph Wheelock & Rebecca Clarke Wheelock, was bapt. Aug. 24, 1634 at Eccles, Norfolkshire, England. She died at Roxbury,MA in childbed Nov 28,1667, Æ 34.

On June 7, 1654 at Roxbury,MA, she married, as his first wife, John Craft(s), eldest son of the immigrants Lieut. Griffin Crafts and his first wife Alice. He was born at Roxbury,MA on July 10,1630 and died there on Oct 3,1685, Æ 56.

The children of John Crafts and his first wife Rebecca Wheelock, all born of record at Roxbury,MA are:

• i. Thomas Crafts, born c.1656.

• ii. John Crafts, Jr, b. Aug. 6, 1658; was unmarried & drowned on May 5, 1685 "off oyster banks."

• iii. Rebecca Crafts, b. Aug. 28, 1660, d. before 1710 at Medfield, Mass.; m. 1) at Roxbury in the year 1682, Isaac Turner, s. of John Turner & Deborah Williams, b. at Medfield, Mass. on Aug. 25, 1654 and d. there on May 29, 1694, Æ 40. She m. 2) on May 14, 1708 at Medfield, Mass. as his 2nd wife, John Rockwood, s. of Nicholas Rockwood & Margaret Holbrook, b. at Medfield on Feb. 12, 1662/3. He m. 3) at Medfield on June 20, 1710, Sarah Adams.

• iv. Mary Crafts, b. Oct. 16, 1662.
• v. Joseph Crafts, b. May 5, 1666; d. young.
