INFORMATION FROM RELATIVE (step)nephew Alan Larsen ([email protected]) says Andrew was stepson of Edward Asplund.

Mother was large, heavy-set illiterate Finnish woman who remarried 1917 to Edward Asplund. Andrew gained stepbroter Arvid born 1908 and stepsister Ethel born 1912. She had previously worked as a cook in a lumber camp and fall 1917 Matt Blomquist came to hire her for his camp at Metropolitan to cook for 15 workers. Son Andrew & stepson Arvid did chores carry in water & firewood, sweep out men's shack, clean lamp chimneys, do dishes, clean barn & feed hogs while stepfather cut logs. Spring 1918 moved to Felch. Mother had 2 children with new husband, Alma (1918) and Alfred (1920). Andrew later was railroad section hand and during the depression years worked at the CCC camp south of Foster City. In his later years he was well known as a bus driver for the Felch school system.
