Katherine R. Dean , 78, longtime resident of Cicero, passed away peacefully at home. She was born May 1, 1931, in East Syracuse, the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Lozipone. Katherine was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Alonzo Dean . She worked for Marine Midland Bank for 18 years at the operations center. She was a member of House of Praise Church.
Survived by her children, Rev. Lon (Joann) Dean and Rochele "Shelly" Dean ; grandchildren, Nicholas Croft, and Moriah, Joelle, Christiana and Alayna Dean ; great-grandchild, Jared Croft; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hour will be Wednesday, November 11, from noon to 1 p.m. at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. A family memorial service with be at 1 p.m., following the calling hours, at the funeral home, 3111 James St. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
