Introductory Bio, pending completion of the one being prepared by his widow and son.

Randal Scot "Randy" Williams was the youngest of four sons born to Paul Williams and Arlene Mary Smith. He loved cooking up his own recipe for "hot" pepper sauce to share with family and friends, fishing, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with his older brothers. He welcomed his stepson and grandson as if they were his own offspring. Randy was very capable and creative in working with his hands. He made beautiful wooden keepsake boxes, remodeled an older home for his family's residence, and was a really nice person to know. Randy had been a successful real estate agent, owned a home repair/remodeling business, and was musically inclined, playing his guitar and singing with his brothers in their band. Randy is missed; but he is free of pain and at rest now.Randal Scot Williams was born on October 04, 1961 to Paul Williams and Arlene Mary Smith. He is their youngest son of four boys. Later in life both parents remarried other people. Paul's second wife is Stephanie and Arlene's second husband is Roy Fender from Texas. His brothers are: Michael (Kim), Steven (Carol), and Richard Williams. He has three step brother: Tim, Joe and Pat Nourse and one half sister, Anna (Michael) Fazekas. He has 6 nephews and 1 niece: Michael, Douglas, Ryan, Bradley, Kevin, Justin and Morgan Williams. He died on December 30, 2009 at the age of 48 in his home. He left behind a wife, Dee, a son, Jeffrey and a grandson, Aiden Williams. He also leaves behind a daughter but he never did get to meet her.

His favorite color is blue, favorite number is 4, favorite season is always summer, favorite state is Arizona, favorite flower is a Bird of Paradise, one of his favorite songs is Amazing Grace.
His first favorite saying is:
He said "Come to the edge". I said, "I can't I'm afraid".
He said "Come to the edge". I said, "I can't I'll fall off".
He said, "Come to the edge". And I came to the edge,
And He pushed me. And I flew.
His second favorite saying:
An elderly gentleman one day was walking through a cemetery reading epitaphs on tombstones. He stopped at one which read: "Here I lie as you pass by, as you are now so once was I. As I am now so you will be. Prepare yourself to follow me"! He considered this a few moments then he took out a piece of chalk and wrote underneath: "As I am now so once was ye, As ye are now so I will be. But to follow you I won't consent until I know which way you went"!

He married the love of his life, Deirdre (DeeDee) King on June 30, 1987 in the country at their pastors home. A month later (July 26th) they had a small church wedding in their home church, First Trinity Assembly of God, for their families and friends. They were together 24 years 2 days and 30 minutes, married for 22 years and 6 months.

When they married Dee brought to the marriage a son, Jeffrey Williams born in September of 1983. He was 2 years and 9 months when they married. Randy raised him as if he were his own. He was an awesome dad. The last several years of Randy's life he and Jeffrey were the best of friends. They lived, loved, laughed, danced, played hard, talked and spent as much time together as possible. They were always together. He loved being a dad. Randy raised Jeffrey not as a stepson but as his own flesh and blood. When it comes to describing Randy as a dad it's hard to put into words. From the time we got together we decided to raise Jeffrey better than we were raised. We wanted him to be more well rounded than us. We took the best of our childhoods then improved them for Jeffrey and took the things from our childhoods that we didn't agree with and made them better for Jeffrey. We wanted him to be better prepared for life and going forward with more opportunities. In doing this it made Randy a better dad than his dad. We wanted Jeffrey to be a better man and a stronger dad than he was. The last couple of years of Randy's life they were not just dad and son, they became best friends.

In March of 2007 Jeffrey became a dad making Randy a PaPaw. His grandson's name is Aiden which mean "little fiery one" in Irish. Randy fell in love with him. Randy had told me that Aiden was the first and only baby he ever held. One of their favorite things to do was eat ice cream. Every time Randy had some Aiden would stand beside him on the couch and they would share the bowl of ice cream. We would stock up on ice cream when Aiden was coming over. The 6 months prior to Randys passing he was teaching his grandson how to play the guitar and sing. In the spring of 2009 Randy was teaching Aiden how to fish using the swimming pool as his pond.

While attending First Trinity Assembly of God church Randy had many different positions that he was involved with. He was the worship leader in charge of all the music for the services, Sunday school teacher, hosted the men's prayer meetings (at his home every Saturday night). He would also preach from the pulpit a couple of times a year. He worked with the youth group, did the maintenance inside the church (with other members of the church) and he and his wife, Dee, did the lawn and landscaping. In his free time with the church he headed up several ministries. He started his own coffee house ministry called "Elim Coffee House" based out of the church. With help from some of the church members as his staff they were doing the coffee house every Friday evening. He found local Christian talent from around Ohio, to come and minister to whom ever showed up. Many people came to the Lord through this ministry. He was also able to take the coffee house into one of our local jail systems. The first Monday of every month we would do a coffee house service in the jail. Still using talent from around Ohio. When the men in the jail got to a certain point in their rehabilitation they earned the privilege to walk to the church to meet their families and attend the Friday night coffee house. We were able to take this ministry out of state to do revivals in West Virginia. We did that for about three years.

Some of Randy's passions were: music (guitar, piano, drums, singing, harmonica, bass and trying to write songs), riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, playing chess, traveling, making homemade wine and spices, cooking, spending time outside and taking naps.

His pets were: Buster, BooBoo and Sadie (all three dogs), Sissy the cat, Chester the goat and Elvis the bird. He had a saltwater fish tank with his son and a freshwater fish tank with his grandson.

His professions were: Accountant, Real Estate Agent and later in life he had his own remodel business called "Signature Home Improvement".

Every girl wants her knight in shining armor to come and rescue her. He was and still is my knight. I got on his white horse and not only rode away with him but I fell madly and deeply in love with him. He was kind, funny, semi thoughtful, generous by default, big hearted and had a sense of humor like no other. He also cared too much. Sometimes his heart was so big that it would get him into trouble.

My life with Randy was very short. We were married 22 years and 6 months but together for 24 years 2 days and 30 minutes. Even though I didn't have the rest of my life to spend with him I am very grateful for the time I did have. I've learned to never take anyone or anything for granted, spend time with people you love, wake up every day as if it is your last day and to make sure that I always add chapters in my life.

Randy is missed and still much loved by his wife DeeDee, his son Jeffrey and his grandson Aiden. Even though he is no longer here with us, he is always in our hearts.

He has always been and still is my one true love.
