Mother And Sister Of Parksvillians' Dies
HARRODSBURG, Ky., May 2 (Special)

Mrs. Lizzie Satterly Taylor, 94, widow of John N. Taylor, died at 12:15 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Scrogham, in Washington county.
She was a native of Anderson County and a member of Mt Freedom Baptist Church of Anderson County.

Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Scrogham, Sinai, and Mrs. Virgil Cornish, Lawrenceburg; six sons, Arthur J Taylor, Harrodsburg; Bertie Taylor, Mercer County; Onis Taylor and Melvin Taylor, both of Sinai; Luther Taytor, Louisville, and Henry Holt, Parksville; a stepson, Erastus Taylor, Bloomfield; a sister Mrs. Nora Drury Washington County; a brother, Harve Satterly, Parksville; 36 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Bethel Baptist Church in Anderson County by the Rev. E. A. Somers and the Rev. Cornelius Estes. Burial will be in Darnell Cemetery in Anderson County. Grandsons will serve as casket bearers. The body is at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home here.

Lizzie was the daughter of James Marion Satterly & Arthemesa Holt (married 5 Sept. 1867 in Washington Co. Ky.) Sarah E. Satterly married 1st. 14 Nov. 1886 in Washington Co. Ky., J.W. Holt. She married 2nd. John N. Taylor.
