He married Esther Luella Calhoun on November 10, 1937 at the Episcopal Church in Madison (Lake), SD. They had 2 children: Gary Eugene, and Dianne Marie.

Leslie E. Bostic, 92, Sioux Falls, S.D., died Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Inn on Westport in Sioux Falls.
Memorial services were held Thursday, September 13 at First United Methodist Church, Sioux Falls. Interment was in Old Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone.
Leslie Bostic was born July 8, 1915 in Iona. He grew up in the Pipestone area where he received his education, graduating from Pipestone High School. Throughout high school and young adulthood, Les played with his siblings, the Bostic Bands for dances, throughout the region.
He married Esther Calhoun on Nov. 10, 1937 in Pipestone.
Immediately following high school, he began working for Montgomery Wards. In 42 years of service, he rose to the position of regional manager, raising the bar for excellence in sales and setting many sales records.
He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Bostic, Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Bostic; his great-grandson, Andrew Bostic; his brothers, Alva (Tiny) Bostic and Lloyd (Charlie) Bostic and his sister, Ilha (Gussie) Grinde Johnson.
