Asa Fuller Funeral Rites Held MondayDied Friday at Homeof Willis Fuller inJefferson TownshipThe death of Asa T. Fuller, 85, occurred Friday at the home of his son, Willis, Jefferson Township, following a three week's illness.He was born April 5, 1860 in Winneshiek County to Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Fuller. The family became Allamakee residents 75 years ago. He received his education in the rural schools and engaged in farming until old age overtook him.On December 31, 1881 he married Martha J. Lawson and six children were born to this union, three of whom, Mrs Hattie Egan, Ernie, and Mrs. Irad Mills with their mother, preceded him in death. Those who survived are Fred and Willis Fuller of near Waukon, and Mrs. Fern Nelson of Ruthven. There are ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral MondayFuneral services were held Monday afternoon at Martin's Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Lawrence of Des Moines, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of which Mr. Fuller was a member. Burial took place in Cleveland Cemetery, Post Township with the following serving as pall bearers: William Peterson, Ad Peterson, William E. Peterson, Irving Beeman, E.F. Pieper, and Charles Sickmeier
