MACKINAW -- Mildred L. Keyser, 81, of 13068 Keyser Road died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at Morton Villa Nursing Center in Morton.

Born July 23, 1917, in Taylorville to Richard and Jossie Gregg Larimore, she married Sterling F. Keyser on Nov. 23, 1938, in Bloomington. He died on Nov. 29, 1993. She also was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving are three sons, Richard of Roscoe, Darrel and David, both of Morton; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Goostree of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Caroline Wienberg-Linne of Dallas, Texas.

She was a retired beautician and helped with the family farm operations. She was a member of the Mackinaw Christian Church, Mackinaw Home Bureau and Mackinaw Garden Club. She was grand marshal of the 1998 Macka-Fest Parade.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at her church, where the Rev. Kevin Robbins will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery.
