"OBITUARY"
ELKHART-Friends of Gwendolyn "Gewn" L. Kenaga may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, and one hour prior to 10 a.m. Friday funeral at Osceola Church of the Brethren 58362 Beech Road, Osceola. The Rev. Donald Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Mrs. Kenaga, 85, died at 4:35 a.m. Monday (Feb. 13, 2006) at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka Campus.
She was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Goshen, to Haller and Violet (Trowl) Crume. On June 21, 1941 in Elkhart, she married Robert R. Kenaga.
He survives, along with two sons, Dennis (Vicki) Kenaga of Osceola and Kirk ( Patti) Kenaga of Mishawaka; two daughters, Linda (Gerald) Steinbaugh of Goshen and Marla (Laron) Beyer of Kimmell; 10 grandchildren. 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Hooley and Norma (Ralph) Yoder, both of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John H. Jr.
Mrs. Kenaga was a member of Osceola Church of the Brethren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Osceola Church of the Brethren, 58362 Beech Road, Osceola, IN. 46561.
