Flora Sullivan 1878-1942

Mrs, Eugene Sullivan, a resident of Bagley for the past twelve years, passed away Sunday evening, April 12th, after an illness of several weeks duration. The direct cause of her death being coronary thrombosis.
Mrs. Sullivan, whose maiden name was Flora E. Mix, was born July 28th, 1878, near Detroit Lakes. On October 12th, 1907, she was united in marriage to Eugene Sullivan. Since their marriage they have lived in the vicinity of Detroit Lakes, until 1931 when they moved to Bagley.
To this union seven children were born, Lila, Mrs. Ray McKnight of Detroit Lakes; Jean; Timothy; Jerry, Corrine, Myrtle Mae, Mrs. Ralph Nelson of Hibbing, and Kathryn. Two children, Jean and Timothy preceded their mother in death, both dying two years ago.
Besides these children she leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Eugene Sullivan, five sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Arnie Rotvold and Mrs. Spurgeon Hanson of Detroit Lakes, Mrs. Ed Carlson of Pine River, Mrs. Bergdorff of Muskegon, Michigan, Mrs. Scheonteich of Modesto, California, Ray Mix of Dilworth, Archie Mix of two Harbors and Oliver Mix of St. Paul, together with two grandchildren, Joan McKnight, and Scott Norman Nelson.
Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church in Bagley on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Pastor A.P. Anderson, officiating and E.F. Cease, funeral director, in charge of arrangements.
She was laid to rest at the village cemetery beside her two children.
