In 1889 his grave and stone were discovered on the Samuel Plank farm in an old crumbling graveyard. Other stones over 100 years of age were also discovered.

The following are the surviving children: Abraham Boice, Jacob
Boice, John Boice, Robert Boice, Mary intermarried with Isaac Whitaker,
Margaret intermarried with Jonathan Wamsher, and Sarah Intermarried with
William Davis.

Court of Common Pleas, Reading, April 18, 1851 - appeared
Evan Evans administrator of Hannah Boice or Boyce, deceased in rights of services of Abraham Boice, deceased. It is reputed of Abraham Boice that he served in the War of the Revolution as a soldier in the
Continental Army, Virginia Line and that he served to the end of the War. The said Abraham Boice died on the 11th. day of July, 1832. The claim then Is made for pensions due Abraham Boice, deceased in his life time, from the 4th. March 1826 - up to the day of his decease July 11,
1832, for a full pension, the evidence of his service is herewith connected which is of Record from the State of Virginia, Hannah Boice, wife of said Abraham Boice, survived her husband's death and remained his widow, and died on the 21st. day of August 1845 - he would also
state that from a family record in possession of his daughter (Mary Whitaker) since the decease of her parents. It appears that Abraham Boice and Hannan Wells (his wife's maiden name) were joined in marriage on the 7th, day of August 1786, which Family record is herewith sent to you dated Boston MDCCXL.
The ceremony I believe was performed by the Rev, William Boas of Reading, The following are the surviving children: Abraham Boice, Jacob Boice, John Boice, Robert Boice, Mary intermarried with Isaac Whitaker, Margaret intermarried with Jonathan Wamsher, and Sarah Intermarried with William Davis.
The said Abraham Boice and Hannah his wife were residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania - and died in Berks County, Pennsylvania and that neither received a pension either from the United States or Pennsylvania.

We the Auditors of Public accounts do hereby certify that
Abraham Boice, is entitled to thirty six pounds for the balance of his pay to 31 of December, 1781 as a soldier for the Infantry in the Virginia line on Continental establishment, payable the first day of January, 1785.
with an interest of 6 per centum per annum. Agreeable to an act of General Assembly passed in the November session of 1781 - given under our hands this 4 day of February in the year 1782.

New Morgan Boro: Formerly stood on property of Grace Mines, under what is now a trailings dam. From Rt. 10 8 miles south of I 176 (Green Hills Exit), left on Elverson Rd .. 2 mile to intersection of Ranck Rd. Cemetery no longer visible.

History: Original Wells homestead situated on far left comer of intersection. Cemetery removed to St. Paul's Methodist Church, Geigertown where a monument was erected. Jacob Plank was an Amish Bishop. Report by Bethlehem Steel on reinterment (1963) on file with BCAGP.
Gravemarkers and inscriptions: One inscribed stone; 13 fieldstones. [Copied by engineers employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. to move cemetery, 1963]
