SUICIDE OF MRS. IRELAND
Ida Ireland, aged 30, wife of Joseph Ireland, of Bloomington, committed suicide early Wednesday morning. The couple occupied an upper room at the house of H. U. Grant. About 5 o'clock Ireland ran down stairs, and occupants of the house heard Mrs. Ireland call to her husband, a moment later they heard the women fall to the floor. When Deloss Grant and a roomer, Mr. Field, entered the room they found the woman dead with a 22 revolver a few feet from her. Ireland was placed in jail as a witness and upon investigation of the County Coroner was released. Ireland was a driver for the Littlellier bakery and his wife worked in a restaurant. Her maiden name was White.
Michael Cummins say White was the last name of Ida's Stepfather.
