Frederick Stover Deeds, of Baltimore, formerly of this city, died at Fort Howard Hospital, Baltimore, Wednesday at 5 a.m.

He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Morris Frock Post No. 42, the William D. Byron V.F.W., the First Christian Church and the Purple Heart.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Christine E. Deeds; sons, Lee Frederick, J. Maxwell and James Allen; daughter Joan Beverly, all of Baltimore; sisters, Mrs. John Cramer, Mrs. Archie Holbruner, Hagerstown; brother Claude Deeds, Hagerstown; step-mother, Mrs. Bruce Deeds, Clearspring; step-brothers, Abraham, Elmer and Bruce; step-sisters, Mrs. Catherine Shaffer, Hagerstown; Misses Isabelle, Nina Mae and Gladys Deeds, Baltimore; Mrs. Mary Troxell, Clearspring.

The body was removed to the Suter funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at Suter funeral home at one p.m. The Reverend William Norment will officiate and interment will be in the National Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
