CLARK SWARTZ - Word was received here that Clark Swartz, Carolton Avenue, died in Pennsylvania, while on a visit. For a long term of years he had worked for the Hagerstown Spoke and Bending Company, with Mr. Seibold, coming here with him.

Mr. H.C. SWARTZ, a well known resident of Hagerstown, died Saturday evening at Carlisle Hospital from pneumonia, aged 66 years, 6 months and 4 days. He had been visiting his borther, Frank Swartz, who had been very ill.

Those surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Swartz; daughters, Mrs. C.M. Whittington; Mrs. L.B. Bonebrake, Washington; Mrs. Robley Duplex, Youngsville, La.; Mrs. R.J. Riley and Mrs. C.R. Riley, Hagerstown; Mrs. J.D. Drimsley, Mrs. Eva Swartz; granddaughter, Miss Mary Swartz, all at home; sons, Walter C. and Roy Co., this city; Clarence L., Washington; Sewell C., Lemoyne; Robert L., Harrisburg; and Earl J., who is now in France; brother, Frank Swartz, Carlisle; and three sisters, Mrs. George Price, Bunker Hill, WV; Ms. Geo. Grub, Winchester; and Mrs. John Price, Ridgeway.

Funeral from the house, 428 Carolton Ave.; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
