Services for Mildred Kendig 66, of Elkhart, who died of a heart attack Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Elkhart Christian Church, with burial at Elkhart Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Elkhart, Mrs. Kendig was a member of the Elkhart Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Alva, two daughters Vera Cory of Alleman and Veda Dyer of Elkhart; three sisters, Lois Rumbaugh of Maxwell, Agness Rumbaugh of Mingo and Opal Mendenhall of Baxter; one brother, Lester Spooner of Maxwell, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at Cooper's Funeral Home in Maxwell.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the Elkhart Christian Church Building Fund.
