Graveside Service for Mrs. Lucille Dickinson Ainsworth, 83, of Delhi, LA will be held at Rosefield Cemetery on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kelly Clark officiating under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Mrs. Ainsworth was born May 14, 1926 in Hortman, LA and passed away Friday January 29, 2010 at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro. She was a homemaker of Delhi, formerly employed by TG & Y, Morgan and Lindsey Discount Store, and a telephone operator. During WWII she had worked for the war effort in ammunition plants. Mrs. Ainsworth was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. She authored 5 books on geneology collection.

She was preceded in Death by:
Husband-Joe Vernon Ainsworth
Father-John Lafayette Dickinson
Mother-Edna Stella Eubanks Dickinson

Survivors include:
2 sons-Vernon and wife Judy Ainsworth of Delhi, LA,
Johnny Vance Ainsworth and wife Gayle of West Cliffe, CO,
Daughter-Joan Reeves and husband Larry of Richmond, TX;
4 Grandchildren-Vernon Lafayette Ainsworth II and wife Brandy,
Joshua Ainsworth of Delhi, LA,
Gunter Ainsworth of Pueblo, CO,
Adina Reeves of Richmond, TX;
2 Great grandchildren-Christian Lafayette Ainsworth of Wisner, LA,
Randall Paul Ainsworth of Wisner, LA.

The Pallbearers will be Elbert Ainsworth, J. D. Alexander Jr., Melvin Humble, Richard Och, and Cleve Ainsworth. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Ainsworth, David Ainsworth, and Ralph Ainsworth.

The family will receive friends at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010.
