MRS. MARY BADGETT O'BRYAN, 73, died at Elliott Rest Home here at 7 o'clock Friday morning, January 8, 1971 after a lingering illness. The remains rested at Hale & Polin Funeral Home. Surviving are her husband, T.W. O'Bryan, Sr.; four daughters, Mrs. James Berryman and Mrs. Harold Cissell, Louisville; Mrs. James L. Smith and Mrs. J.H. Borders, Springfield, nine sons, T.W., Jr., Bernard, Foster, and Buddy O'Bryan, Springfield; Matthew O'Bryan, Bardstown; Richard, Joe and Billy O'Bryan, Louisville, and Fred O'Bryan, Jeffersontown; 33 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Mattingly, Springfield, and Mrs. Sarah Hamilton, Loretto, and one brother, Walter Badgett, Springfield. The funeral Mass was said at 11:45 Monday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Fredricktown, interment following in the family lot in St. Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Donnie, Jerry, Charles F., Billy Allen and Joe Roger O'Bryan and Michael Berryman.
